The law offices of AK Seddons were founded by JUDr. Eva Bartůňková and Mgr. Petr Šťastný in September 2016. The law firm continues in the tradition of the former Seddons Solicitors branch office in Prague, which was originally opened by Anthony Maurice Seddon in 1992. We provide complex legal advice in many practice areas, focusing primarily on civil and commercial matters, corporate housekeeping and contracts, real estate, litigation, intellectual property rights, debt enforcement and criminal law. We represent private individuals, corporations and cooperatives. We provide our clients with reasonably priced services aiming to enforce real justice and establish legal certainty in legal relationships to our clients’ utmost satisfaction.

We approach each client and each matter individually, with utmost diligence and with clear sight of the objective that the client desires to achieve. Maintaining maximum confidentiality and absolute, compulsory client-attorney privilege is a matter of course. We are able to resolve a variety of complex legal affairs, whether in the course of private or business life. These include sales and purchases of real estate, including holding funding or documents in escrow, complex legal assistance at the beginning of setting up one’s business or winding up corporations, employment matters including labour litigation, and including criminal representation before courts; Seddons are also able to represent private owners in matters relating to apartment owners’ association dealings. We have experience in family disputes and related property settlements

Thanks to our long-term tradition and diligent development of our practice, the law firm is able to provide consultations in matters relating to English law.

Since 1 September 2016, Seddons law offices function as an association of advocates pursuant to Sec. 14 Act No. 85/1996 Coll., on Advocates, whose partners are Mgr. Petr Šťastný, Czech Bar Association No. 12 915, ID No.: 713 45 639, and JUDr. Eva Bartůňková, Czech Bar Association No. 12 679, ID No.: 720 13 249
